Excellent quality - price a bit steep
Very nice item, typical of ULTRA. Comes with slick adapter and power supply. At $30, price is a bit steep, but you pay for quality - this item is not junk... Well worth the price.

This is not an adapter
This product only performs backup. The device never presents to the OS except via backup software. I have other adapters that present the disk to the OS.

A little bit glitchy
I sometimes have trouble getting this device to be detected in windows. I've gotten some driver errors, and sometimes the hard drive won't even boot. One other thing I don't like, is the whole thing is built into one peice.... this is a bit annoying if you want to put in a hard drive inside your pc and power it with the PC power cables, but plug it into a usb 3 port that would load automatically when your pc turns on. It's pretty fast though, usually 2x faster or more then transfering using a usb 2.0 adapter. I'll wait till they make different versions before buying another one.

It's an amazing device!! Totally loved it
I got this device about 10 days ago. and worked on a SATA hard drive for one of clients right away without even reading the instructions cuz it was so easy to connect and use. it didn't take longer than 5 seconds for the drive to load and I was able to retrive the data that was one it. the data transfer speed was very accepable, again I highly recommended this device to anyone looking for both quality and performance.
