Does what it's supposed to do, but...

It does exactly what it is supposed to do, but depending on your house, it may not be ideal. I have a front porch which puts visitors in the shade when they ring the bell. During the day, I cannot see much more than their outline through the viewer as the brighter outdoor scene behind them fills the screen. At night, with a dark sky behind, it is much better. Perhaps a viewer with less contrast would work better at my house.

Very poor viewing Quality

Installed in our brand new home. When viewing the screen it is possible to tell there is someone standing at your door but you can't tell gender or any features at all. After having several people view, they all said it was worthless to have.

Great Product Easy Install

I'm highly impressed with the PeepHole viewer. It offers me a full and wide field of view of the person on the other side of the door in all lighting conditions. This offers me a greater amount of personal security without opening my door. I would highly recommend this to anyone living alone and for the elderly. I no longer have to squint to see a very small image out of a standard peep hole. It was very easy to install as well.

Good Buy

This product is a good buy. It works reasonably well even in low lighting conditions. The quality of the image could be better; however, it is definitely good enough to see who is standing behind the door. The product was easy to install. Highly recommended

I never had a peephole in the door before. This was a very easy installation and it works flawlessly. I think this is a great product.

Great for short people

I thought I had the same problem as the person who wrote Save our money on 9-19-2010 what I learned was while I was outside and having my wife test it from inside she could see the details of me making faces and certain gestures, then we switched places and all I got was a very dark figure?? why was my wife seeing details and I was not? that's when I leaned down to her size 5'2

Quite satisfied

I purchased this for my mother who lives in a high rise condo and admit I was worried about the dimmer hall way lighting. Though there are lights featured beside every unit door they are rather low but this does not hamper the view she gets when anyone arrives at her door. She loves the bigger picture and yes I would recommend this product.

Very cool.

Wasn't sure if this would work well and thought $124.99 was cheap enough to give it a shot. Its been installed for about a month now and we love it. In a condo hallway there is more than enough light and finally the kids can actually use the peephole for safety. Lovin' it.

I got the viewer for my mom and she loves it. It works great. The guy who said it was too dark must not have paid his light bill. Don't let him stop this sale. I think it a bit pricey but hey, it's my mom ,right.
