What I needed
I am a fan of Corsair memory brand and in the past I have used their DHX pro-memory for DDR1 back in the day that used parametric display of information, I found it quite useful in determining memory failure in their old models in the past. This new unit is a bit expensive for parametric data but it now displays temperature information which is a nice thing to know.

It works as advertized although you will need to go on line to get clear instructions to aid the instalation

Fitment Warning
I tried to install this on an ASUS Crosshair V motherboard, but am unable to do so because the memory goes in upside down compared to other boards. I have been made to understand this happens on some AMD and X79 based motherboards. The cables that come off the Dominator RAM modules are not long enough to put it in right side up, and putting the unit on upside down interferes with the ability to install a graphics card in the top (primary) slot. DRAM must go in with the module outputs at the TOP or this will not work. Had to RMA but Corsair was very good about it. Otherwise the unit appears to be very well built and would have been an awesome addition to my system.

good product
Well designed color temp indicator led's very nice. Running 24 gig dominator the activity led's are active during game play and look great! One of my Led is not showing but it could be a lose connection. Overall good buy.
