Be careful to verify compatibility!
Before you buy this heatsink, check out Zalman's website. they have a card compatibility list you might want to look at closely. i can say for sure that an ATI Radeon HD card with Dual-DVI and Dual Slot will not fit this Heatsink as the secondary DVI on the riser will prevent this card from seating correctly. This was so true with the Diamond 6770HD i bought here also. Check compatibility BEFORE you buy any VGA Heatsink! Otherwise it seems to be a very well made product!

Amazing cooling
Bought this to replace my failing stock fan on my 5870, and I'm totally amazed at the temps I get now! I used to idle in game in Rift and BFBC2 at 80c+ degrees now during anything it's usually around 40c to 50c, playing rift it stays in the lower 40's with everything turned up. I'm totally amazed! I really thought you couldn't get temps like this unless you went to water cooling, boy was I wrong. Now I just hope they make one for the 6970 cards for my upgrade.

Amazingly awesome cooler
It depends cool as it says and the fan control switch is very useful. You dont use the onboard power source of the gpu, so the fan control is custom and you just need to get a little hardware monitor like CPUID HWMonitor to see the RPM it's running at. I use around 1800rpm for everything, its not louder then my cpu or case fans and cools really great. My XFX HD5850 idles at 39-43 and it might reach close to 60 on full load. The little heatsinks that come to attach to the memory modules fit pretty well except for one. My card came with its own heatsink, it seems theres a third design style of the board layout, the two they provide installation guide for, didnt fit on mine.

Will not work with all 58xx cards!!
Before you do anything else, check to be sure the supplied FET heatsink will work on your card. It did not fit my VTX 5850 and the stock FET heatsink was too tall to use under the new cooler. I removed and cut down my stock heatsink sink to fit under the cooler and that worked, but it was a royal pain and I don't recommend it. So check and if you can see it won't work on your 58xx, just send it back. Also, make sure the GPU is making contact with the heatsink--I've heard that on some cards, if you use the o-rings it leaves too much space, and you'll brick your card!
