Great little burner
I have been putting this to some moderate to heavy use. I have had no real issues with this unit. The problems I have encountered are likely because of Nero. I would recommend this burner to anyone needing an external DVD burner.

GARBAGE
After 2 months it just died. No support and not returnable. MANUFACTURER IS OUT OF BUSINESS!

It Works
Not a lot of bells and whistles but it works. Couldn't me burner software to find it but you can drag and drop to it. It's a good value.

Good drive at a good price
Got mine for $30 here on this company. No external power cord needed. Has a short USB cord attached to the bottom of the drive so you don't lose it. Using Windows 7 there is no need to install drivers or software. Just plug and play. I used this on my new netbook to install printer drivers from disc and to burn a recovery DVD. The pop top design means you'll never get a disc stuck inside or fail to feed. With no autofeed there is one less thing to go wrong. Overall I'm very happy with this and would highly recommend it.

exceptional value
I needed an external DVD writer for my new Acer netbook. This Polaroid unit not only works great, but, is an exceptional value. I was also impressed with their low shipping costs.

Good Deal
I decided to buy an external when the one on my laptop quit working and I didn't have the money to have it replaced even if I did want to be without my baby for any length of time. I haven't used it to burn with yet, but since it has preformed as expected for every other use I don't expect a problem. I like the fact that I can remove the CD when it isn't connected to the USB. But the lid is a little flimsy and I worry the hinges won't last unless I am very careful.....so I am very careful.

Great Deal!
This little unit works exactly like it's supposed to. I've copied 70 DVD's and it's worked flawlessly. It is a wonderful value. This site shipped this puppy out quickly, too. Great service!
