its a phenom not a phenom II
bought this for an am3 board because it says am2 + the plus means it is compatible with am3 board right.? just like the athlon II ect well it isnt,it only fits in am2 boards so im stuck with a lousy cpu

AMD CPU
Was a great Price I should have gottem more of them. Shipping was fast and easy. The CPU arived in good shape. Was well packaged up. I will order more if the price ever gets to that price again I have not yet used the cpu but I am going to hear soon.

good quallity at an affordable price
I purchased this as part of a kit and worked perfectly out of the box. Computer booted up properly as expected allowing me to install Windows 7 without a hitch. I would highly recommend this product.

Great!
This processor works great for some pretty hardcore gaming, Im used to working with budget systems, used this in a barebones kit, There are alot of other CPU's that are much faster, but in my opinion paying for anything more then this is just paying for overkill on speed that wont be utilized.

This thing handles all my video games great. cpu usage with WoW is only about 10% with ultra settings Ive never used a pc that runs faster than mine does now.

Beats my old 486
OK - So I didn't really replace a 486 - it just seemed like it. I did bump up to this from a 1.8Ghz single core. Massive difference. The triple core runs everything faster!
