I should've listened to the reviews

Where we live, we have no signal in the house so we have to go outside to make a phone call. It makes running a business from inside the house impossible. I thought maybe this thing would make it so I could talk on the phone in the house. NOPE. Its in my office, and I still have to tell clients to wait until I can get outside. Not worth the money or annoyance.

Works great within 10 sq ft

Don't be fooled by the advertised 1500 sq ft. At that range you will have very minor boost in signal. I normally have 0 to 1 bar of reception in one small area of the house. I now have full bars as long as I am within 5 ft of the booster. I use this with a bluetooth repeater connected to a regular cordless phone so I can go anywhere around the house. You must try different locations for both antennea to get the best reception and they must be 8 ft apart. Shipping was excellent, I received this the day after ordering.

Not as good as I expected

I does boost the cell signal but you must stay in the same room. The increase is 1 to 2 bars.

Save your money

I just received my zBoost YX540 Metro. I have five bars outside my apartment but virtually nothing in so my hope was to bring the signal inside. It does bring in five bars but the 1500 feet broadcast zone is pure fiction. The phone needs to be a foot away to get five bars and drops to nothing in two. Save your money.

Works in my RV

We full-time in our RV and are currently staying in a valley where the cell service is spotty at best. This unit picked up what ever signal was available and broadcasts it so we can use our phones and internet stick. I still get the occasional dropped call but compared to what it was like before, it is worth it's weight in gold.
