Disapointing

Noise canceling doesn't work at all and it eats batteries like candy. Not impressed with Sony on this one

Good price for noise cancellation headphones

I was impressed by the value of these headphones, although they do lack in base, even while turned on. That could also be caused by my sound setup. To get better headphones you really have to pay more, and get a DJ pair. I didn't notice that they were uncomfortable, however.

Mediocre but cheap

The headphones seem to be constructed very well and I am thinking they will last, however I am a bit disappointed in the sound. There is nothing special in what you hear and to me, it sounds a little muddled. .....possibly too much bass. They have a nice button to turn on and off the active noise cancelation, however I honestly cannot tell any difference in the sound or in the ambient noises around me when I am wearing them whether or not the switch is turned on or off.

EXCELLENT BUY!

Purchased this for my husband's 2-way, 3 hr plane flight He's very hard of hearing and just loved being able to listen to his favorite music which I downloaded for him on his new Ipod and he listened to using this headset.

Good sound but uncomfortable

The sound is fine with these but there is no padding on the headband and it kinda' hurts on my head. Also, the cord is too short for my liking. If those 2 things were addressed, I would rate it higher but they may not be a problem for some people.

Excellent fbuy for the Value

I had been looking and pricing over the ear noise cancelling headphones for a while and came across this deal. Hands down, this is probably the best buy for the money. Does the trick well.

GREAT deal for the money!

These aren't the most professional headphones you'll buy, but for what you get for what you pay, they are a great deal! The noise cancellation feature is switchable on or off, so you can use them as regular headphones and only turn the noise-cancel when you need it, this definitely helps save on battery power. The headphones have a pretty good overall music response for general listening. They cushion your ears nicely and are very comfortable to wear for an extended period of time. I have never used any other noise-cancel headphones, so I have nothing to compare them to, but these seems to really get rid of background noise. I use them for practicing music and they work great. The singer in my band also unconventionally uses them as earplugs for band practice, using the noise cancellation without having the headphones plugged into anything and it works so good, I ended up buying a second pair to reside at the studio. They fold for easy storage too!

Quality in line with price

Ok, so these aren't $300 circumaural headphones. But for the price, they are excellent performing headphones. I was evaluating them for a hearing impaired application - cost effective enough to essentailly give them away to organization members.

This was a fantastic buy for a teenage boy! my son wanted a headset that was cool looking and had a great sound!! Dad was not going to buy a set for 199.00. This was a steal!

this is definitely a bargain, but you probably don't get as much as you do for a more expensive pair.
