After getting used to the old Elite version which seemed to be quite loud and run hot after a short while. This one runs silently and can handle all the new games without a hint of lag. I do recommend the 250GIG hard drive, although I haven't yet figured out how to transfer my old hard drive to this one.

XBox 360 is great Price could be lower

The 360 arrived on time as well, and all there. But the price could have been at least twenty dollars lower, considering you have to pay shipping and handling. All together well worth it.

great for the kids!

great way for the kids to get started with an x-box, it does everything needed, and the wireless communication with friends works well. What a way to spend a snowy Ohio nite, at home, playing games, and yet sharing the nite with friends too!

Great price for the average gamer

This is a great deal for people looking to just play games with the Xbox 360 Live or not live. The product works great, and I've been having a lot of fun using it. The 4GB hard drive is sufficient space for just a few games and downloads. I use a 15 GB external usb flash drive as a secondary hard drive and was very easy to set up. The only draw back, the headset was not included with my system as advertised, so please, watch out for that. Otherwise, buy this thing, it's awesome.

Simply put, one of the best SKU's of the xbox I've encountered. The built-in Wi-fi makes connecting to Xbox Live simple and cheap, unlike in other variations where Xbox Live will cost you either a night messing with cables or eighty bucks on an external Wi-fi device. Not only that, but most developers have found the Xbox games easier to make, and subsequently just port them over to PS3, where it loses not graphics, and sound quality, but it loses playability, and with it the fun factor. PS3 is for all the HD-junkies out there, Xbox is for all you fun-loving people, and the Wii is for 8-year olds and the elderly.

one easy package with everything i need to set up a great game system, the kinect sensor is super and has been a real hoot watching people play games.

This unit comes with no hard drive. I was able to interface a 40 dollar hard drive to it after some research. Sure beats dropping an extra hundred on it for that drive. You can also buy a cheap jump drive and format it with drive key instead of buying the expensive one.
