Good Sound without Power Transformer Mess
I bought these for a friend who wanted good speakers that had passable sound without having to mess with a power transformer. Unfortunately, two weeks after arrival it began to develop a little bit of a buzz - they didn't want to mess with returning it as they decided it was tolerable.

Great for travel
Wanted some easily transportable speakers for traveling with my laptop, so didn't want a sub-woofer or power transformer. Overall sound quality is very good and bass response is better than I was expecting. The nifty little padded case is a great bonus. Very satisfied.
