Great upgrade
This is a great upgrade from my 19 monitor. only problem I have is having to have the monitor at the right angle in order to get the full 3d effect. cannot move very much or view is blurred. i have found i can sit further back and have a little more freedom in movement if I adjust the depth deeper. all in all a very happy gamer.

good monitor
It's works well in 3D. It comes with tridef which I've had no problem with. If you search around you can find a way to make it work. I'd say the only problem is that there is an angle to view properly. It's a height one too, so you can gather 4 people and all watch well if you're in the same height angle.

Replaced our TV
Quality and Performance didn't get 5 stars because of the horizontal lines you can see in the lighter colors of the picture. This problem disappears if you are viewing from a distance, but when doing computer work it is annoyingly noticeable. You do need to have another optical drive already installed on your system in order to install the software for this drive to work.

Tech Review
This is a 60Hz monitor that is capable of 3D content and 2D to 3D conversion via the software included. Works with W7 32 and 64. Gaming looks good. Nice depth and all. Only does 3D via software and it has its limitations. You cannot go online and view any content 3D, its not in the software. Not a true 3D monitor IE 120Hz. Its only a 60Hz peice of hardware. So chances are no go with N3v4idia 3D shutter glasses. Bottom line is if you want to game in the highest quality 3D available get a true 120Hz monitor and use nv 3D glasses (shutter type). So before buying spend the extra time and do your research about the technology and hardware. Dont get me wrong if all you want is a good looking monitor and 3D gaming this will work. If you also wish to see streaming 2D to 3d video this will not work. 3 dif could make the needed software to allow all of our 60Hz TVs and Monitors display 3D but they havnt come out with a version yet. That I would buy in a heartbeat.
