A very good scanner for the money

Gives fast and good quality scans. Auto feed occasionally feeds crooked. I miss the auto sizing of my previous scanner. It is fast.

Good for the money

This was my first dedicated scanner. I mainly use it to scan multiple documents (50 to 100) to send via e-mail. The unit scans quickly with good to better quality. I cannot understand why the power switch is relatively inaccessible. I have had a few problems with feeding but not any more than any cheap combo machine. I just thought a dedicated scanner would feed a little better. Also, It's a little quirky on out put.I have to scan to a thumb drive then plug the drive into my laptop, all while the scanner is connected to the same laptop! I will buy a better one next time.

Works Great

Best scanner I have every had. This thing eats paper with out plugging day in and day out.

Excellent value in small package

I have used this a couple of time to scan 15 page documents and was amazed at the speed and quality of pdf documents. Highly recommend it to anybody who is looking for a scanner.

Great Scanner

For the money, it's an excellent scanner. Use it with my document management system and it works great. Would recommend it to anyone - and I have.

I love this thing

I have three of these scanners througout the office and now I have one at home too. These are very reliable. The included Paper Port software is the best, anyone can use it.

Excellent scanner

This scanner does an excellent job. It will scan in color or B&W. The Paperport software that is included is intuitive and easy to use. I had no trouble setting up the scanner on my PC. I was able to use it immediately with little instruction. Excellent product.

USB problems?

This is a good scanner at the price. Our college is using many of these scanners. The USB cable problems is that if you use a cable over 6 ft. the scanner will not be seen by the computer. This can be overcome by using an ''active USB Extension cable'' also known as a repeating USB cable with electoinics on board.

Very quick scanner for my OCR needs

Picked this up, as I needed a low cost OCR option for a catalog production job. No problems with delivery or setup, and less than 10 minutes later I had this scanning page after page of information.. Quality construction and isn't flimsy like some of the scanners out there. If you transcribe or type information from a printed page on a regular basis, buy this now and your fingers will thank you later.. This really is a great deal..
