What A Great Sound Card
I bought this Turtle Beach sound card to enhance the sound of my computer run karaoke. Not only does it work well but surpasses the sound card I originally used. Other karaoke jockeys that have come to my events have raved about the sound quality that I get out of this great little external sound card. I would recommend it for anyone that wants and demands great sound.

Would have been a good product if it worked...
I bought one to bypass my laptop's DAC and connect the laptop to my outboard DAC. Out of the pack, the product looked fine. Installation seemed straightforward, the laptop recognized the device and installed it automatically. Although it looks like it is ready to run at this point, the user has to download a new driver from TB to be able to use the control features. This is not evident and took some head scratching to find out. In my case, the analog output worked just fine. However, the optical connection did not. After some troubleshooting, I contacted the customer service. One thing I can speak of highly is their customer service. The person who responds is personable, knowledgeable and prompt. In the end, we identified the optical connector thingy as the problem.

Perfect
After fighting with an Apple TV product, I have switched to a netbook for my home audio listening. The netbook has my home itunes collection on it, and I play it thru this device and an optical cable into my home stereo. Sound is awesome and has not missed a beat in nearly 5 days continuous use. AWesome!

Good Solution for an older laptop
I upgraded my old laptop with Windows 7 and the sound card no longer worked. Adding this external sound card that Windows 7 recognized solved the problem. Great news.

Decent USB soundcard for money
I'm a DJ and bought both this USB card plus the sabrent external card - thinking this would be my primary and the sabrent would be the backup. I ended up using the sabrent as my main, as I think it sounds a BIT nicer. That being said, they still both sound great and I would recommend purchasing.
