Not Hot Swappable with XP
I recommend this drive, it works well for changing drive quickly. Had to reboot any time I changed the drive with XP.

FAST BAY FOR REPAIR GUY
I luv this 2.5 bay for HD satas or SSDs. I repair and backup laptop drives and this is the fastest connector to backup, restore, partition, or reformat drive. Excellant construction and engineered. I like fact both sections have their own power and data connectors. Smartest purchase I ever made. A must for techies working with 2.5 drives.

Way cool
I put this in a new system build with a pair of 500G 2.5 in 7200 RPM drives running level 1 raid. It came with power and SATA cables and has seperate LEDs for each drive. Well built, sturdy way more than I expected for the price.

Not worth it.
I had RMA'd this product because it took a power connector for each 2.5 inch drive, which completely defeats my purpose of having POWER SAVING 2.5 inch drives in a larger chassis. I suppose that's what I get for a 30 dollar rack. Otherwise, the rack is solidly built, and the tray-free design is a nice plus. However, I would spend the extra money on getting a rack that only requires one power connector.
