Great buy if you don't want your data!
We got this drive about a month ago and it is already DEAD! In fact I have three out of three of these drives sitting on my desk that are all dead. Five out of five Seagate barracuda drives I have tried in the last two years is now dead and the data gone forever.

AWSOME COMPUTER!
Awsom computer! well organized instruction booklet other then the faceplate lighting was in a funny spot, ( in the beginning of the instructions )butother than that the computer was awesome and started right off the bat and don't hear a sound at all!!! VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASE! THANK YOU! :D

terrible quality control
got 3 replacements of these hard drives which means 4 and they are all bad and the tiger direct agent said he wouldnt do anything about it to get me a different hard drive , terrible customer service , but back to the hard drive these things are very noisy the one im using is bad which is gonna need to be returned to seagate , but these things are not quiet nor reliable in any way shape or form , best bet is to get a western digital or samsung , cause seagate is seriously slacking right now in the hard drive game

1 out of 5 DEAD
I purchased 5 of these hard drives about a year ago. The first one just died without errors or warning of any kind. The quality of Seagate, Maxstor, Samsung drives have gone way way down! This is the second time in 10 years they have serious quality issues... This is the last time for me. Never Again! If you are using any of these drives, I am sorry. If you are using them without current backups then you will get what you deserve!!!

Not impressed
Within 1 month of installing, System Mechanic has warned me of two attributes of this HDD that are close to failing.... It is also by far my lowest score on my Windows Index Rating (5.4). I think I'll stick to WD instead from now on.
