Keeps things cool

I bought this for my i7 2600. Keeps it under 45 degrees most of the time for the work I do. Word of caution though, make sure to have plenty of room in your case. I had to take out a side fan to make this one fit.

Beast!

This Cooler is impressive but huge. I had to remove the fan from the inside of my case to fit this cooler. Other than that, it works amazing. No problem with sound, runs quietly and doesn't block any ports.

This thing is a beast of a CPU cooler

I didnt think this sucker was as big as it is. My gawd, I'm glad I have a nice big new mid atx tower that supports it. Big enough to be a moped radiator. Advice: the back plate bracket needs to be mounted UNDER the MB. So you will either need to mount it before you screw down the MB, or make sure you have access to open the other panel of your computer case.

too noisy for otherwise quiet system

Easy install and it does a real good job of cooling but I will be trying to find a quieter fan. The one it comes with, even on slow speed, is the loudest thing on my system and it has 5 other fans on it

Great deal for cooling; May require finagling

The only reason that I didn't give it a perfect score is that it is currently blocking two of my RAM slots, and I also needed to move a case fan in order to accomodate the fins. It brought my system from 88+ degrees when running Prime95 (I stopped at that point, because it was already getting too high) to a consistent 55 degrees.

Keeps CPU really cool!

One very small con, the instructions do not tell you to install the four little screws that hold the mounting hardware onto the heatsink, not that they are needed, as the whole assembly is held firmlyin place. After assembly, installed quickly and easily, the fan is even quieter than my power supply cooling fan, NO MORE LOUD HOUL!

Man, it's big!

This is a very large cooler! It fit into a MSI IN-9410 Raptor Mid Tower Case with very little room to spare! It keeps my Intel Core i5 very cool, the cores never go above 40C no matter what I throw at it! It's about the size of my head!

Great fan

Though it is listed as compatible with socket 1155, you have to tinker with it to make this true. I have a 1155 socket, but had to adjust the settings to a 'half way' point to make it fit. Also, when applying the brackets, I had to really tinker to gat the back piece on. But, when all was said and done, I was very impressed with this fan. Fitting was a bit tight, but I couldn't be more pleased with it's cooling power.
