Piece of Junk
I bought this to replace my Sansa Fuze because all the features sound fantastic. After a day, I found it doesn't hold a battery charge. So, it has no value, features are rendered worthless, the quality (obviously) is down the crapper, and it can't perform without holding a battery life. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

Broke in two months
Player worked fine for two months, then just died. Won't turn on, won't respond to being plugged into USB, nothing. These are simple devices that should easily last a couple years if built with decent parts.

Good deal for $
I bought 2 of these devices for my 9yo daughters. Hoping they hold up to a durability test. One was packaged with headphone ear piece cover dislodged. I just snapped back together. I like the ease of sync'ing music with Windows Media Player or just open as harddrive device on computer. No proprietary software needed. I was concerned that each player had different quantities of songs and different software, picture images, already preloaded. Didn't realize these were refurbs?? Overall music files seem to play fine during my testing. Hope batteries hold for decent play time

Good unit
This player is OK. Not great. Haven't figured out how to bookmark. I use it to listen to university lectures. Bought some good earphones, and that improved the sound. Cannot beat the price.

Great for just playing music
I'm happy with this purchase because I just wanted something inexpensive and basic to play music and this item does that. The other features are almost useless because the menus are extremely cumbersome.

Malfunction of product
The product will run only when connected to my usb port. It will not take and hold a battery charge to allow me to use it away from the port. I did call mach speed and suggestions were given but have been ineffective. I now consider the device a waste of funds.

Waste of money
I wish I would have read the reviews prior to purchase. I found the unit frustrating. It was pre-loaded with music I didn't want and I deleted the files. Now I can't get anything to load or sync to the device. Was so excited when it came in the mail. After spending literally hours trying to get the device to work to my liking, I have nothing to show for it.

Cheap product; difficult to use
If you only want something to play music, this is fine. If you want something easy to use, this is not the right product. Menus, controls, etc. are counterintuitive. No playlist.
