This is my first MP3 Player

I love it. It works great as I have downloaded all of my music to it and listen to it daily while walking. The display is hard for me to see though. I am 60 years old and may need glasses, but I know where the controls are so it makes it easy for me to use. I get great reception on the fm as well.

Don't get scared off by those other reviews

This is really a great product. I can only assume other reviewers are expecting this to work like an iPad. It costs a fraction of what an iPad does, people. Personally, I like it better. The sound quality is great, the size makes it perfect for running and exercising, and there is plenty of storage capacity. The user interface isn't completely intuitive, but if you spend two minutes looking at the brief instructions included with it, you'll be fine. My only complaint: the FM tuner has a hard time getting good reception in my condo.

Does what I need. Good for the price.

I use it for pod casts and listening to the radio while working in the yard, mostly not for music. Controls are confusing and sometimes frustrating, but adequate if you don't have to use them a lot. Not good for navigating through large numbers of short songs. FM transmitter volume is too low, so not very useful function. Once you figure it out, voice recorder works, but not a big thing for me. Sound quality is fine for my purposes, but not for golden ears. Computer interface is basic file transfers, and charging is through USB port. No charger is included.

Good product

Even though it is a small mp3 reader it has a very good sound and I can have it in my purse.

Archos: The Worst of the Best

I bought two Archos, AVG 320 and 600 both now RIP. 600 screen just went black, 320 battery made my life miserable. Archos do not have a customer service, they might say they have it but they dont. It is really hard to find parts for it, and expensive. Only thing this one has is FM transmitter. FM transmitter are not that expensive. Better buy yourself a solid brand and a Belkin FM transmitter.

Workd fine

I got this to use while riding my bike. it works fine, at leat with aftermarket earbuds (the original ones were poor to say the least. It woks fine, sounds fine, and was very inexpensive. Not very many features, but it is fine for what I use it for

was good for 2 weeks

Mine died after 2 weeks. Easy device. Very convenient. Display is too tiny to read. volume control takes 2 steps and was not convenient. Nice attempt, but needs some tweaks.
