Great deal, but slower speeds
The drive is great for driveless ultrabooks, altho the drive speed is a bit slow is my only complaint. Quality was great as is with most all asus products.

It works
Purchased when Asus had a $10 rebate so the price was right. I received it, plugged it in and subsequently installed software to my driveless laptop. It did was it was supposed to, I am content with my purchase.

OK Data Drive
Am not doing anything challenging with this drive so it suits my needs: backup to CD, load software and music. Haven't tried playing movies on it. Cheap, light and USB powered. Great.

basic and cheap
Bought this to play movies on my new laptop. It skips a lot ,sound and video, and will not play the movie clearly. Works OK for Data. Its a good, simple external drive.

Just what I needed
Wanted a USB CD drive to repair a netbook computer for my daughter and this was just the ticket. Had tried loading Windows via USB thumb drive and had many difficulties on her repair. This did exactly what I needed and worked fine out of the box.

not bad at all
i got this so that i could put the OS back on my laptop after i upgraded the hard drive. it did the job without any problems.
