Good and bad

I built my very first computer not to long ago and got this PSU just incase I needed to upgrade. Worked good the first two months then it died and I had to revert back to my 500W that originally came with the case. Some how sitting on the shelf for a month fixed it because I decided to test it out. But I WILL NOT be buying anything else from this company.

Was great..... For a day

I ordered a Xfx HD 6870 2gb graphics card, and this power supply to pair with it. Hooked everything up, and it was great, until the power supply EXPLODED, shooting sparks out of the back of my case and crashing my computer. I have had to revert to my old 500w power supply, and HD 4670 Graphics Card until I can get it RMA'd next week. I will not be buying from this PSU manufacturer in the future.

Runs Great - 800Wpower supply

WHen my compaq pc died out, i decided to put together my own. Especially after looking at how much pricing would be if i bought it all setup. I picked this psu just in case i would need more juice once i have more cash to upgrade parts. It runs great for me, and modular features definitely helps out. It makes my case look so much neater cleaner. The modular designs should all be industry standard. don't know why it isn't!

Dead on Arrival

Ordered everything I needed for my new build, hooked everything up pressed power button and nothing zip. very disappointing, troubleshooting revealed dead power supply.

Arrived Defective

I bought this PSU as part of a build that I'm working on, since my old PC was about three years old and failing. Right out of the box, the green PWR ON wire into the motherboard's 24pin connector wasn't even wired into the pinhead, and the metal sheath that would normally force that wire to make contact with the motherboard's connector wasn't there. This of course means that I can't even turn the computer on. Very frustrating, this is the first product from this company that I've purchased but I won't be purchasing another.

Value

Big time value big bang for buck. I would think 800 watts might be a bit too much for my needs but when I saw the price tag, I had to do it. SO far so good. Now my hard drive makes more noise than my hard drive. Worth the cash so far.

Good Buy

I wish I had more technology to throw at this badboy. Quiet, quiet and quiet! Maybe because my old PSU sounded like a lawnmower but I can appreciate that. Would strongly recommend.

Brilliant!

I really like the modular design. Even though I have a pretty big case, I hatedall the extra cables from my busted 750W PSU. There's no room when you've got a couple of SLI 550s
