Be careful
On my first use, the tripod head popped off the rest of the tripod. It's basically just a ball-and-cup joint. What holds it together is that the cup opening is slightly smaller than the ball, so the ball pops in there. I was able to get the head back on the tripod, but I'm just not sure that's strong enough to hold a heavy camera, especially in the uses sometimes depicted in the publicity, where the tripod is wrapped around a pole and the camera is suspended out there. I suspect that the weight of the camera may be too much for that kind of use. I certainly wouldn't put a valuable camera into any risky situations like that.

You get what you pay for!!!!
I saw this little tripod for what seemed like a great deal hoping to use it for my kodak playsport. It wouldn't even hold that, I had to glue a bunch of the joints together to make it rigid enough. Like you always hear, you get what you pay for. That couldn't be more true!!!

Won't even hold my webcam without collapsing. Absolute waste of time.
