works flawlessly
I bought this board to add a firewire connection to a new Gateway computer. Works great with my Canon Vixia camcorder. Was detected and installed by Win 7 with no problems. Smooth integration into Avid Studio. All in all a very good experience.

easy install, auto install drivers
Win 7 64 bit platform on my machine. Card came with both a low form bracket and regular form size. 2 screws change it out. Nice small package, powerful, and works right out of the box. Horror stories of 1394's not working in Win 7 are a myth in this case. Bpught this because my leagcy 1394a was NOT recognized in Win 7. Bonus is this lard has 1394b for the future. And it arrived on time from a drop shipper. Minimal instructions.
