Best ever and save money a lot!

Happy 1st Anniversary year to my eight LG A19 7.5W LED Light bulbs! Still strong for 1 year still running just great! Never blow out on year 2012 to Feb 2013! LED light bulbs blow regular bulbs out of water! Go LED light bulbs! I order this 8 LED light bulbs from Tigerdircet and work flawless right now. I remember I order 8 LED light bulbs for $79.92 ($9.99 on each one). I notice on price is go up, what a crazy and waste money! Please stay on $9.99 everyday and more afford! I'm not rich, but I need LED bulbs to save electric bills. Very happy with it! Think like I brought this LED lights from ALDI store to save my money a lot! Let rock and roll in the future with a lot of LED bulb lights! Weewee! Said good bye bye to old technology of bulbs!

Works great but be aware of limitations

I bought two of these LED bulbs. They produce excellent light, just like others say brighter than regular 40W lightbulb. I am using them in reading lamp and to light stairs to the basement. This is where they shine: where you prefer directional light (reading lamp) or where light is turned on many hours a day (stairs). I thought I could buy a dozen more to put through my house, but found it can't be done. Most of light bulbs in my house are fully enclosed, other are outdoors, and the rest are used just few minutes a day. Replacing them by LED is either not possible due to restrictions for LED bulbs, or economically not feasible. One thing to notice: this LED bulb gets really hot - hence no use in enclosed fixtures. My thought was if it is LED it must be cold, but it is not. If these are on sale again I will probably buy two more for walk-in closets, and that's it. The rest will have to be CFL.

Nice light, good price!

It works fine. I put it in the light over the medicine cabinet because my housemate had a tendency to leave it on. Now, if he does that, the cost is minimal. The light they produce is of acceptable quality. I got two of these for $10 each. I have yet to use the other one. I would recommend waiting until they go on sale to buy them.

Great so far

I have been using one of these bulbs for only a week, but I have no complaints. I was a bit skeptical about their brightness (having tried other LED bulbs), but I read the other reviews & crossed my fingers. They are brighter than I had expected. I have put one in a light that is on a timer & comes on for an hour or 2 morning & evening to light our stairway. Very pleased.

Very decent light

I picked up a bunch of these when they were last on sale and impressed with the light they put out. A couple of things to note about these lights though. The bulbs are heavier so in a goose neck lamp it tends to weigh it down some (easy enough to fix). The light is directional compared to a standard bulb which makes it perfect in certain lamps but not so in others. The light temp colour is quite pleasing, on the warm side. For a low wattage bulb, it puts out a lot of light. Waiting for the next sale to get more..

Great LED Bulbs

I bought 2 week ago at $10 each. Good quality, very bright colour, and actually brighter than 60W incandscent, though labelled as equivalent to 40W. Most importantly we all love its warm white colour, better than incandscent.

The long wait has ended

I have been waiting for an LED standard socket bulb for 5 years. This one has reached the right price point at last, and the colour is the best match to and incandescent I have ever seen - it outshines mini-fluourescents in every caregory! Thanks LG, good job!

Much better than florescent pig nose bulbs.

I purchased 10 of these lights 6 months ago, this is my second set of 10. I plan to replace all the light bulbs in my house with these lights. I know they say 40 watts of light, however seem to me they are even better.

Great Bulb

This is the second time I have ordered this bulb. The first time was for three and I was impressed enough to buy ten more. I think they are brighter than the 40 watt equivalent as advertised, more like a 60 watt. The colour is not harsh. The only place I could not use them were in a dimmer circuit, as they stated (they actually work well in my circuit if only one is used but not if both bulbs are replaced by these LEDs). Also, not great in a lamp because the light is directed out the end of the bulb and not sideways like with an incandescent or compact florescent. For a ceiling fixture they are excellent.
