This item is not compatible with Windows 7 and 64 bit PCs. In actuality it will work with some accessories and not others. For example, it would handle my printer OK but not my scanner. There are other 7 port hubs offered that are Windows 7 and 64 bit compatible. Read the descriptions closely.

Great Product!

I am very pleased with the Cables-To-Go self powered USB 2.0 7 port hub. I am using this for my Dell XPS laptop. This port hub gives me lots more connectivity options. After comparing this item to the other hubs out there, this was a very easy selection. I highly recommend it to anyone!

Worked Great for 6 Months

supplied enough power for 2 external hard drives, keyboard, optical mouse, digital camera and still recognized my battery back-up and printer flawlessly. Now it's quit supplying power through 3 of the ports, and I'm assuming that it will eventually quit on the rest. How hard can it be to make one of these that will last longer than 6 months?

Fine little hub

Hooked up in an instant. Works well with flash drives and external hard drives (1 TB) as well. I had a Linksys previously which went belly-up in a couple of years. This replaced that one quite nicely!

My laptop did not recognize either my Seagate or my WD external dives when they were connected to this hub. When I use my GE compact hub the same laptop recognizes both of my drives. I am returning this hub.

My motherboard doesn't supply enough voltage for my USB external hard drive, but this baby has solved this problem. I highly recommend using this hub if you have some power hungry USB devices. Its AC adapter supports 220V as well, in case if you wanna use it outside US or Canada. This hub is well worth its price.

Everything worked when I plugged it in! And it recognized when I pulled USB devices out! This was my 3rd hub after returning 2 other cheaper ones that did not behave 'correctly'. There's some good firmware in this baby.

I was amazed as the small size but it's one of the best USB product's I've ever purchased! Now my IPOD, camera and Epson printer all have a USB2.0 connection. WinXP discovered and configured it without any problems! This is GREAT and I highly recommend it!
