An excellent mike, well made
There are lots of quite cheap mikes out there but I find they tend to fall apart after a while. The Blue appears to be very well made of quality materials. The sound quality is the best I have heard outside of a professional setting. In fact this rates as a semi-pro mike. The sound profile can be changed between cardioid and omni and this is a big plus to avoid acoustic feed-back amongst other things. For voice you need to be quite close to the mike for professional results. You will not regret buying this mike.

Excellent Mic

Great voice-over microphone
I bought this for doing video voice-overs. I was previously using a boom microphone, but the voice quality was generally awful. This microphone is easy to use and makes me sound like a broadcast star instead of a duck! The only caveat is that you have to talk close to the mike, which is a little awkward if you use just the included tripod. I am very glad I bought this one.

Superior sound, plugs in and connects easily
Works perfectly, mic picks up sound very well. Delivered to my house in perfect shape, within a week. You must have a program that allows you to record from this device, such as Audacity, or Goldwave. Set that program under Audio Options or Preferrences, to Snowball Blue device as your default recording device after you have plugged in the Snowball USB connector to your PC. Device does not need any drivers to be installed. Just plug in and record thru it.
