Slow to no recharge

Unit was always slow to recharge battery on any power interruption. With no indication of component or battery failure, this 18 month old unit fails to recharge the battery after a minor 5 minute power failure. The battery indicates no charge and 0 estimated run time minutes with 14% load. Very dissatisfied with this product.

This UPS does what they say it will do at an excellent price. Delivered quickly with no problems.

Great Product

Great Product, just make sure you plug it directly into the wall and not use an extension cord. Otherwise you will make the mistake of thinking it's Dead on Arrival. I have two of these units (One older-one newer)and they work just fine for on my network. Have never failed me, I rate 5 stars. Thank You !!

Dead on arrival

Never again! Wrote to the company, APC, twice and received no response. I have better things to do than waste my money on further purchases from APC.

Great UPS

I purchased this Backup-UPS because the one I had only lasted 10 seconds when the power went out. This UPS is doing a great job. I recommend it to anyone who needs a UPS.

Good UPS

I have had this unit in service for about a week now. It seems to be well made and has a robust software program that provides a large amount of information and options. I have read in other reviews that it is not compatible with some of the new Energy Star PC's which requie a Pure Sine Wave output as opposed to a Step Sine Wave which this unit produces under battery. It tested fine under battery with both of my computers, but, if you have an Energy Star PC you should probably purchase a UPS that puts out a Pure Sine Wave.

Great UPS

I have used APC UPS devices of many sizes for many years, both at home and at work. A few years ago, I bought a couple of competitive UPS units which were lower priced. Big Mistake!!! The cheaper units failed after about a year, mostly because the batteries died. The APC unit works great, the software is actually useful and the LCD readout panel is really handy. Buy with confidence!

When my backup unit died I purchaced this one and was very glad I did. It is quiet and has proven itself already. Price is not bad at all.

Excellent Battery Backup

We purchased two of these for non-critical internal servers at warehouse facility and they have done a wonderful job so far. They protect our hardware from low voltage, brownouts and they LCD display with load monitoring are a nice feature.
