Works Great
I bought this because my power grid at the office was increasingly unstable. I bought two, one for our network server array and one for my editing computer. Now when the power flickers o turns of for a moment, I don't lose any of my work and I my servers don't take damage from sudden shutdowns.

It does its job.
I just got this as a precaution in case there was power failure. The battery backup provides enough power for a computer and monitor to run with PLENTY of time to save and shut down. I haven't tried the software because I turn off my computer when I'm not home.

Simple and Works
Simple and works. The Ultra battery backup works well. It won't run your system for a long time but it will instruct the shutdown. The software is very dated but it works. I like the feature of logging the voltage, amps and frequency. It will send email alerts for power failure if you have an SMTP client. I haven't gotten it to work with webmail.

Pretty good
only thing I didn't like was the location of the USB port. Made it awkward to place under the desk. Takes more room that way!

Works very well
I've matched this to a small Dell desktop with Windows XP. The software installed with no problems, and the UPS works very well. I have larger UPSs for my bigger desktops, but this works great for the small one. No problems noted in several weeks of use, including great protection during a lightning storm.

I have this on my wireless router and cable modem. Power goes out and I'm still up! Nice!

Slim Design, Lightweight
Great unit. Has USB port to talk with pc. Good entry-level unit. Make sure you don't overload this unit. If you need more juice go with a larger one.
