Poor Audio
I had issues with the camera from the start. The included software would never connect to the camera via USB. The audio was poor at best and breaking up regardless of the sound settings. The data could not be erased from the memory card without removing it to a reader or formatting the card in the camera. As far as video, it was excellent. Including night shots of the moon craters on 400x digital zoom. I could work around the issues with the software and memory card, but not the audio.

Great camera for the price!
Camera does an excellent job, great optics, and a reasonable recording time on the Non-included recording media. Only problems I encountered are relatively easy to correct or work around. First of all, don't even think of using this camera handheld. The 20x magnification REQUIRES a tripod. You can't hold it still. Second, if you have large hands, (I do) you have to use the tripod because your fingers don't fall on the controls. Aside from those two items, A great camera at a great price.

Great little Camera
The one feature I loved was the external mic plug in. Records clear. great little camera, ordered it had it in 2 days and took it on an extended over seas trip, was small, easy to carry, i could tuck it in the pocket of my sweatshirt, and recorded great. at the price it was a great deal.

Excellent Camcorder
The movie quality is excellent compared to non HD camcorders. Software is limited, but will get the job done. You did need a hoss of a computer to edit HD video - be sure to check the spec of the software. Sony Vegas and MS movie maker have two of the lower rerquirements. I had not problem using a card reader to get the movies directly from the memory card, but you must naviagate the folder structure on the card to find them.
