Great Item, great price
This hard drive works great. It's quiet, works fast, and has plenty of storage space to keep me going for a long time. Also, it was as simple as plug n play.

Great Drive at a Great Price
No software with this drive - It is a 'nuts & bolts' special. I us it for backing up my movies, pictures, files, etc. and as everything that I have purchased made by Western Digital, works flawless.

For an amateur, easy to connect and use.
Wanted plenty of space for backup of pc with thousands of photos. So far so good. Easy directions and so far it functions exactly as I'd hoped.

Good
I love having so much storage available at my disposal and for the price its incredible. Inside of mine is a WD caviar green advanced format drive. The unit is about the size of a desktop drive which surprised me when it arrived but that didn't bother me. The fact that it's an advanced format drive though does bother me a little bit. I can't mount any VHD that I save on the drive in windows 7 because of the fact that its an advanced format drive. It also plugs into the wall which isn't really convenient but I love the storage space so its OK.

Great for Storage
Takes little effort to set up and use immediately. Seems to be as dependable as any WD HD ... which, with rare exception, means it works just fine.

Great Deal for a Good HDD
I was hoping to be able to use this to store my movies and plug it in to the USB on my TV but the TV doesn't recognize the device. Not a problem with the drive, just something I was expecting. I'd like to see a power switch, but there is none. Overall, good product, good price, working well.

not bad for a usb hdd.
I havent had the hdd for too long now. Just wanted to add a con. Hdd doesnt have a on or off switch. Other then that the hdd out of the box is pretty good.
