$40 good value but ...
Works as advertised but the contrast is poor compared to a Kindle and the highlight feature is difficult to control compared to a Kindle. I was satisfied with the battery life and there is a power saving feature that I don't use because the response to page turn is too slow with it on. I do turn off WiFi when not in use and only needs two charges per book. It is great value for only $40. I have only had it a month so I don't know how long it lasts. It uses Barnes & Nobel for book purchases, EPUB file format. It is thicker and heavier than a Kindle but if you have never used a Kindle you should be satisfied with it. It works with reflected light: good even in sun but bad in the dark.

Not a good product.
I never use the WiFi and the battery runs down fast no matter what I do. If I don't use i for ad day or so, it looses which book I was reading because I have to put it on the charger. I have an older Novel7 reader which I like and thought this one would be nice as well. But, it is not.

Works as Advirtized
I have read three books on this already. It works fine. I like it. I have even used the wifi on my home network to surf the net. It's basic and slow but actually works. The music player works fine, as does the alarm clock. The only issue is that the battery does not last that long if the wifi is on. But if all you are doing is reading books then it lasts for about a week. I have had absolutely no problems with it. As a cheap reader I think I got more than my money's worth.

Not a viable choice
Broke within a week. The screen went bad. Not a user friendly item. Save yourself the aggravation and spend the extra money for a black and white kindle.

Bad, Bad, Bad
This is the second one of this product and will be my last. Should of bought a Kindle the first time.
