Works well on a high end computer

As stated in previous reviews, The hdmi proved useless since everything is copyguarded. The YRB component connection included with the card is the solution to this. Through this, I've captured everything so far through a samsung blu-ray player and my DISH HD receiver. The looks and layout of the software package is irrelivant to me because it works. It captures in beautiful 1920x1080 which is the output of my DISH DVR. Granted, I have the card in an upper end I-7 with 12gb of ram, so I have experience no difficulties whatsoever with this product. It does what I need it to do and I highly recommend this if you have the right computer to support it.

works fine with the program included but the program is limited. Pinnacle will not recognize it and I am not going to upgrade the included program. After downloading the HD video I have to save it then transfer it to P innacle to edit and burn to a DVD.

Did not work

I tryed hard, in three computers. Used the cd didn't work. Downloaded drivers, didn't work. Exanged the device once, did not work. I gave up.

Excellent product,good deal

Installation straight forward,only checked composite and s-video capture. XP-PRO OS Performance good. Other applications recognize and capture without any difficulty.

Easy Install, Works As Advertided

I have a WinXP Media Center Machine with an ATI Radeon Express 200 Graphics card. 3GHz P4 and 2GB RAM. Slapped the card into the PCI Express slot, hooked up the composite cables to the 10 in one connector and booted up the PC.. After about 3 minutes to install the software and drivers I'm watching HDTV. The video quality is excellent and it captures perfectly. Excellent little TV Card for the money

BEST CAPTURE CARD I EVER BAUGHT

Even though this is the only HDMI internal capture card i could find. I find that it has the most features and abilites than most of the usb capture cards. It records in full 1080p resolution and it doesnt frame skip which comes in handy.

Tough to set up but here's the key!

First off... Don't use the CD to install the drivers go onto the manufacturer's website and download the up to date drivers. Don't bother installing the software that comes with it, it's junk. Next, the HDMI input just straight up doesn't work, use component (Red, Blue, Green) instead. The box includes a Female component to Male HDMI (male HDMI goes into the card) so maybe you need a HDMI to Component splitter cable (to take your HDMI source and break it down) but they are like $20 tops. Despite this issue, the card works great and still captures high quality video than any other card at this price-point!

I use it as a pass through

I have a HDMI output video port on my computer, so I wanted to be able to input HDMI from my satellite receiver. It works great, I can record if I want to plus pass through to my flat screen. I get 1080i which looks great. I am running through a 50' + 10' HDMI input cable, and then back out through a 50' + 10' HDMI output cable. Picture looks crystal clear.

It gets the job done

I bought this card to capture video from my game consoles and it does it just fine. I have to use fraps to record any HDMI footage from my Playstation 3 because of DRM, but component video from my Xbox 360 records in the software the card comes with. It won't play my old Nintendo 64 or Sega Saturn, but later consoles like the Gamecube work fine. Over all it does exactly what I needed it for.
