Runs out good
The power module installs easily. It's well-made and looks good. I can speak to longevity, because it's only been in a month--but is seems to run well, does run quiet, and is apparently a good unit.

very good, Cool And quiet
Used it about 3weeks now; no issues. I probably would not have bought if I had just read all the negative reviews here 1st, but it turned out to be a great power supply. Note: Description is WRONG, there isn't a 3speed fan switch, but all the other information for power and cable arrangement seems to be correct. It is extremely quiet and very cool. I have run it non-stop for days and powered down and up many times. Coolmax obviously has redesigned the power supply and not updated the model number. Pretty stupid practice by coolmax but net effect is the latest version without the speed switch is very good.

Installation was easy and it's still purring
This was easy to install. Anyone can do it. If you can work a screwdriver and play connect the dots with the cable adapters, you are set. The price, compared to the manufacture of the computer itself, was a great deal cheaper. Installation time from start to finish was performed under 6 minutes.

Well worth it for the money
I have used this in my acer desktop for about 2 years now. I have had 0 problems. I am not a heavy user in terms of hours of use but I do have lots and lots of items plugged in. I have all 6 usb items plugged in and 1 of those is a 4 port usb hub with 4 items plugged in there so I do put a load on power requirements. I would suggest this if you are looking for a nice cheap upgrade

no fan control switch
I mainly ordered this power supply because it had, as advertised, a 3 Speed Fan Control Switch. When the box arrived, it had a picture of the side showing the 3 speed control switch, however, on the unit there was no switch. Very disappointed. I installed it anyway as I needed it to build my system and it seems to work. Very quiet, but some amount of heat and air movement is coming out just hope it doesn't burn up or catch fire.
