Does Its Job And Does It Well

I've been using one of these since the days of Windows XP, and I've actually found that it works with less problems on Windows 7 and 8, even though you won't find any fancy, new drivers on the Creative web site. Just plug it in and away you go! I've used it on everything from a small portable stereo to a high-powered DJ system. The sound is spot on. My advice is to not overthink it. Win 7 and 8 have all the driver you'll need.

Can't get it to work

I have spent 2 weeks & gotten help from 2 people & still cannot get the product to work. Communicating with support, but still no helpful advice. Meantime my speakers have quit working, & trying to get sound back in my computer speakers took outside help. I am electronically challenged, but do follow directions well.

Wonderfull device but wireless radio is spilling

That device works great: great distance, sound is very good (no sign of losses), auto-discovery in win7 and instant install, ect. However, my laptops are experiencing connections drop when i use the device. I think the wireless radio is very strong and frequency may be a bit wide. I will try downloading a new driver that allows frequency change but i have very little hope to fix this, unfortunately. If you are using the 5.8ghz band at home and have a dual band router, you might do better...

Model unsupported by Creative

This is an older product no longer actively supported by Creative, according to their support site. I bought it and then found out Creative does not have drivers for Windows 7. Had to return it. Unfortunatly, it is a good buy, but not much use if it doesn't work.

LOVE this...

Easy to use, easy to setup, and works great! My laptop sound card never worked right, and I bought a cheapie usb sound card which was ok, but fell apart within a few months. The sound blaster sound card was quickly and easily recognized on both win xp and win7, connected easily to my receiver, and sounds great.

Really Easy

Bought this to connect a laptop wirelessly to a stereo system driving the PA system in a large club room for Rotary meetings. A mixer next to the receiver allows use of the laptop audio along with a wireless microphone. Before, we had to holf the microphone next to the tinny little speaker on the laptop. Now we have the audio from the laptop throughout the entire room. Easy to set up. Very pleased with this item.

Big Bang for the Buck!

This is one of the best purchases I made. This device has a range that covers my entire house and garage. It really frees me up from taking an mp3 player and hooking it up via wire. And those of you that have done this know there is a loss of signal in this and have to turn up the volume 25% to get the same volume of other devices. Respnse wise it great enough for me not to hear the loss.

Works as described, good fidelity

Product works as described. The transmitter was recognized immediately by Windows, no driver installation required. I selected the transmitter as the output audio device in Windows control panel then plugged the receiver into my stereo via the included patch cable. The receiver mated to the transmitter in about 10 seconds. Fidelity is better than expected. Some features of the remote only work with itunes. I'm using the device to stream from spotify. The volume buttons work but not next or previous song buttons. Those buttons were only professed to work with itunes so I'm not dinging the product for that. Contrary to what others have posted, it did NOT cause my WiFi connection to drop or interfere. I'm using an 802.11bg access point to stream music to the very PC running the transmitter with no trouble at all.

Its a Beauty

i just purchased this product from this website. I have two laptops. One with a bit slower processor and the other more newer and faster. The slower laptop with windows XP transmits the signal ok but its a bit distorted on the edge and choppy. However with the newer laptop with Windows 7 it works like a charm. It is just about perfect as one could imagine. With this toy I can fiddle with my laptop sitting on my couch and can watch the HD quality flawless transmission to the giant screen without a pause. This item works great and a definite buy as long as you have a newer and faster laptop.
