With the almost 50% discount on TD, this is probably the best value notebook I've bought. The Core 2 Duo ULV processor runs rings around the speediest of the Atom-powered Netbooks and runs cooler than most Notebooks.
Would have given it 5-stars all round if it had more than the 1GB of memory and 120GB HDD. A spare slot makes it easy to upgrade the memory, but the HDD is going to be extremely difficult to access.
Nevertheless, overall outstanding, one of the best values currently.

What Is
FireWire?
FireWire (also known as the IEEE 1394 interface) is a serial bus interface
standard, for high-speed communications and isochronous real-time data
transfer, used on PCs & MACs , with storage devices, and with digital audio

FireWire (Apple's name) and i.LINK (Sony's name).
