Not suitable on Mac, great under Linux
I tested the device and am using it for video editing on Mac and Linux. It works perfect out of the box on Linux, but I've had big volume control issues on Mac. Only the speaker output works there and the volume is too high for headphones. By lowering it to the minimum I can consider it usable for video editing. Apart from that, Sound quality is excellent.

Good Product and Features
A good product with many features at a good price. While on a trip my sound card went out purchased the external sound card and works better than before.

Good Product For the Money, But has minor issues
Bought for Laptop to Hook into DJ Equipment. Works with DJ Software after having to load both decks, otherwise has choppy audio. Also Passes a ground loop so an Ground Loop Isolator was needed with system. The Driver does use some CPU cycles for processing multi-channel info, but can easily be dealt with.. Good product for the money, but does have minor issues to contend with... Used on a Gateway Laptop...
