Great sound card stick

it sounds ok when you install the software from the website, i recommned you to install it. the unit it self sometimes shutters but it ok it takes a little time and it fix it self work great since my mom labtop 3.5mm jack broke also works on usb hubs. great buy

Great Product at a Great Price

The only problem I can see, and what probably disappointed others, is that if you try to use the volume control on the unit it will wear and eventually break it. It is only a dongle, not a bolted down 2 pound device. Works great for me on my old laptop.

I got this to use a headset on a laptop that didn't have the 3.5 phono plugs. It works great. Installed easy, sounds good. Recommend the unit!

Great Answer to Asus EEE Sound Card Failure

Bought this USB sound card because the sound card in my Asus EEE computer died - tried to recover it via reinstall drivers...but all failed. The USB sound card works great. Great sound from my headset. You will need to get a microphone with the USB card as built ins won't work with it (I found one for $2.00 & it works great so far). Great value and no slow down noticed.

I bought this thing a while ago and after some minor confusion it works beautifully. As the headline states, it was a good buy for a low price. Despite being so cheap it has yet to stop working.

Life saver

This thing is a life saver when your integrated audio gives buzzing sounds and the other jack makes buzzing and clinging sounds. You just plug it in, configure it and it's good to go for a long time. Make sure you install the cheap program that comes with it, you get 7.1 audio in your headphones with it, it's neat for blu-ray disks.

It works

Somehow my ex broke the headphone connection on my laptop. I got this and it works fine. Only downside is that sometimes it just stops working. Taking it out of the USB and putting it back in seems to resolve that. All in all nice product for the price.

Does what it says

I bought this item for my Toshiba laptop. When I got the laptop from a friend I had to replace the motherboard due to an issue. The motherboard I got from e-bay while working fine had a blown internal sound board. After finding this product I found the solution to avoid getting a second new motherboard. It hooked up with ease and was immediately recognized. Total installation time was about 30 seconds. Hooked up to a pair of external speakers the sound quality is acceptable a bit better than the original internal sound. And all this for around $20 I would highly recommend this product as an inexpensive way to add sound to a defective laptop or desktop.
