Excellent wheel with small mounting issues

This wheel works absolutely wonderfully compared to my old Thrustmaster Momo. The only issue I have is that my desk has a rounded rather than square edge and the clamps for the wheel don't hold it very well. Any tugging rearwards on the wheel and it comes off my desk. I solved the problem by bolting it to the desk and now it is absolutely wonderful.

Good Wheel

When It comes to the wheel you really cant beat it for the price. This wheel can compete with all the others and is better in most cases. The pedals are not the best but you might not know it if you havent played with fanetics or others. I play IRacing everyday and I would recommend this to others. You can always change out the pedals later for better ones if you want.

G27 Driving Wheel

This wheel is great. Performance is wonderful. Drawbacks are the pedals are too close together. Otherwise, I have not found any problems with this wheel. Glad I made this choice over the old G27 for PS3. This wheel is quiter, smoother and performs better.

gt5 dream

I bought it to use with gt5 and all the features that I personally use, work great. Totally love it!!!

Great for GT5

I bought the Logitech G27 to play Gran Turismo 5 on PS3. This set up was better then I thought it would be. Very realistic feel and feedback for what it is. The leather wrapped steering wheel and shift knob feels great. The feedback works great (the wheel even vibrates if you lug the motor in GT5, now that's attention to detail). It makes playing GT5 way more fun. I would recommend the G27 to anyone with GT5. Tips: if using on carpet, fold down the carpet spikes on the bottom of the pedal assembly so it doesn't slide.(I didn't know about it at first). If the usb cable isn't long enough to go from the wheel to the PS3, buy a usb extension cable (I'm using a 3' one).

Just what I was looking for. Was looking at other products also but I'm glad I went with the g27.

Good For Simulation Style Games

It was between this and the T500RS, so I saved $250 and went with this one and am not disappointed. GT5: AMAZING! I'm getting Golds on license tests on the first try when I couldn't with the dual shock. The Red Bull car is drivable now. Using the clutch and shifter properly results in faster shifts.

Overall very good but not perfect.

Upon reading many mixed reviews I still decided to purchase this wheel, as it was the best for the price range. I found that most of the complaints and praises were true. Here is a quick rundown. Pros: Partial leather surfaces, even smell like a new car. With a few exceptions good quality construction. Ability to select between MT and SemiAT. Excellent force-feedback. Shift LEDs on the wheel. Cons: Plastic clamps. They do the job, but seem frail. No sequential shifter(used in many race cars). No method to penalize driver for mis-clutching. Pedals too high and too close together. No way to adjust without major work. Needs better cable management. Although a lot of small niggles, this wheel is worth buying. It will be even better when the price is dropped more.

What a difference this wheel makes! I haven't yet used the shifter, but the wheel and pedals are excellent. No hesitation to recommend to those who enjoy racing sims.
