Good value for the price paid
For the price paid for these Yamaha iPod speakers, they're terrific. I was looking for a simple, but good speaker system while I run on the treadmill. The sound quality is better than expected with sufficient base. Overall, I'm very happy with this unit.

A wireless speaker for iplayer
Pros: Nice design and portable size. Easy to operate. Cons: The wireless module will not fit on your iphone if you have a bumper on the phone. The speaker should have a line input.

Great Price, Good Quality and Sound
I got this unit for $50 and with that being said, I would probably pay $100-$130 for this unit. It has great sound and is very simple to use, which is important for my wife. I wish it had an external input and some other features, but the great sound redeems everything else. Maybe not as good as a Bose, but by far the best iPod dock for under $100.

Adequate Performance
I was looking for a unit that would work with my iPhone 4 without having to remove its case. It turns out that the transmitter doesn't work with the case on, and the on-unit dock works only if I don't use any of the dock adaptors. I don't mind the way it looks without an adaptor, so this doesn't bother me too much. However I would have liked to be able to use the transmitter. The sound quality, to my ears, is adequate. I would have preferred more bass. I got mine with a $50 rebate. With the rebate I'd consider this purchase to be a fair value. I don't feel it to be a very good value at full price, though.

Love It
The Yamaha Speaker System is an ideal size for my home because I live in a small apartment and there are plenty of times when I can't have my main stereo system blasting. It has great sound for its size and fills my living room. I have not had any problems with the cradle & I am able to carry it to the next room & it still connects.

Very good quality sound, Versatile iPod player
All around a very neat little iPod player. Very good sound quality and sound-stage when listening right in front of it, but sound quality drops as you get away from that position. The remote works with my Gen 4 Nano with no difference in sound quality, and the built-in dock on top is fully-functional with my iPhone 4 (but I have not tried the iPhone in the remote). A 3.5mm input would have been a valuable feature, but we only have iPods & iPhones so it's not a problem for us. I paid $100 for it minus a $50 rebate, and I am VERY happy with the purchase at $50. I don't know if you could do much better for $100 either.

Could be better
I was disappointed with the sound. It's good NOT great. In my opinion, it's not worth the $ 99.00. It has too much mid-range and lacking bass. It's comparable to any stereo system for $ 40.00. Being able to charge the iPhone was a plus. I would recommend it for $ 40.00.

Great Sound
I got this for $50 after mail in rebate and it sounds great. Fills entire room with good sound with decent base. Wireless adapter is ok, but it cuts out so I gave performance a 4. I highly recommend this product.
