Excelent forthe money
Good: - Fast in getting the signal. - Fast in recalculating the route. - Lane guidance - very, very useful when you have a heavy foot. - Very easy to use (intuitive interface). - Rigid cradle with good quality suction cup. Bad: - Sound quality could have been better (I have to say, my previous was a Harman Kardon 310NA - no comparison). - Do not trust the GPS in cities' downtown - I guess is valid for any GPS. - UPS left it at the door - I found out I have good neighbours. Overall: very happy with it. I got it four weeks ago, had no problems with the unit.

Maps need work.
I brought this product for my wife as she has always had a mio. Her was out of date so i just replaced it with another. The device was a great price and a grerat looking screen. The problem was that the maps were so out of date. I contacted mio to get an update but there was not one avalible and was informed that when one did come out it would cost me $50. I returned the the GPS and brought a Tom Tom maps are up to date and the first upgrade is free. I brought this as i thought that it was cheaper to buy a new GPS then buy maps at the same price to upgrade.

Good value for the money
I wanted a basic GPS and that's what this is. Even though its a touchscreen, you need apply little pressure to press the buttons on the screen. TTS works nicely but lane guidance is minimal. The maps are not the latest and there is no easy way to update the maps. Manufacturer website does not offer updates for this model. No other customizations could be done with existing software but some people have luck installing other map software and seems to work.

This is a great product
I am very pleases with this product. It doesn't have all the bell and whistles that the other products have but for the simplicities of use it can be beet.

Good deal
Second Mio GPS I've had. The new software makes operation much easier without losing the comprehensive features that Mio puts in their devices.
