Great
Works well with my current AMD setup and i have yet to find any issues with it. The OC is smooth. The windows index for this chip is 6.8-7.2 or more depending on OC. Overall a solid CPU for not that much money.

Great Buy
CPU works like a charm. Doubled the speed and process of my 5 year old computer. With a good mother board that you can keep upgrading the CPU, there is no need to keep up pace with changes every 6 months. Its the way to go.

new life to an old machine
I used this processor to upgrade from a dual core. I've been running it for 12 to 24 hours per day for a month with no problems. Exactly what I needed to extend the life of the system for another few years.

This CPU is lacking
First thing first i do and will keep recommending AMD products to my clients. But not for this CPU due to the unreliability of it. Fist off it is slow in responding to your applications needs as far loading them into ram to run. Second thing is you should be able to run more than 2 threads as this CPU has 4 but if you do you might as well just stop what you are doing. All in all if you are a power user you would do better if you went with a Athlon X 2 3.0GHz it runs much faster and smoother than this CPU. And also handles the load better.

Burns up in ECS boards
If you are running an ECS mainbord, don't spend the money. ECS has done it to 2 of my CPUs. The first being an Intel P4 3.6ghz. Now my, unwarranted by AMD, HD9750 Quad-Core is toast. I liked it while it worked. 4 months.

A Lot of Processor For The Price
This is the 3rd time I've used an AMD Processor for a build and I am quickly becoming a fan. This little guy is fast, cheap and runs cool.

Price and performance
Cant beat the cpu for the price. I built my son a new pc with it. Put a pny 440 video card in and he can play any game out there.
