Just out of the box
I have not configured it yet, so I will add my comments on that later. Someone said that it did not have a mounting bracket. I almost was ready to drill my own, then saw that there were 4 holes in exactly the correct configuration so as to attach from underneath (with an offset for venting.) The 4 holes in the bottom will allow you to screw a 3.5'' SATA in securely. No screws provided, but I had several screws laying around that allowed me to snug in a 500 GB SATA drive nicely. My 5 stars are my initial impressions, and what it is capable of.

Well worth the money
I bought this to replaced a failed unit and found this to work very well, the ease of menu access and setup is supperior to my last unit. Reviewing video is simple and easy, uploading video to jump drive is simplistic, setting up the video dead spots was simple and straightforward. Take note that this does not include hard drive.
