Amazing Chip
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40 GHz Quad Core Unlocked
Still a wonderful chip. Really no need to upgrade to Haswell chipset unless you're interested in the new motherboard platform for the future. But if you're a moderate gamer looking for a new build or upgrade the Ivy Bridge i5 is everything you need. Easy to overclock, as well as undervolt for powersaving. Overall a 5 star purchase.

Great upgrade from I-3
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40 GHz Quad Core Unlocked
Bought as upgrade from I-3 2100. Worked perfectly and allowed use of PCI3 3.0 video card. Now have perfomance index in all areas of upper 7s. Easy swap for install. Automatically ajusted to new cpu with reboot after intial boot in win 7 pro.

This I5 processor is fast, but adobe flash games hoard all the resources, if you play lots of games requiring Adobe Flash, get a better CPU cooler or a new VGA card

Great CPU
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40 GHz Quad Core Unlocked
If you want to build a really fast machine but are shy on funds and can't afford an i7, this is it. I used mine on a media center build and used it in an i-TX mini board and still overclocked it to a stable, cool 4 MHz using a small Noctua CPU cooler that keeps it below 50 degrees all day long. And of course, being an Intel, it is bullet-proof. This is my third i5.

Glad I went with Intel
Intel Core i5-3570K 3.40 GHz Quad Core Unlocked
The i5-3570k is a terrific processor. It never goes over 45C with the stock fan. The fan itself is super quiet. What a difference from the fan on my FX-8350. I am glad I switched to Intel. I have a water cooler ready to install in order to overclock it.
