Tough to install and a little choppy

The disk was not readable in windows XP or 7. Hard to find the drivers on the website. Just not laid out well to find things. Once it worked, it was fine. Recording was a little choppy but that might be on the slow underspec computer I was using. I didn't score it high on features as it has one, and that works.

Works perfectly

I ordered several devices, all refurbished. I don't care for the software that came with them. On the first machine I used the supplied software and uninstalled it because of problems. Since I have pinnacles studio 15 I just plugged in the devices. Windows automatically instaqlled the drivers and studio 15 automatically recognized each device. All equipment and devices aree working perfectly. I recommend using studioi 15 with these devices!

Great Device for proserving old vhs tapes

Works like a charm. Installed on new Win 7 laptop, installed software and it worked right off. I have over 1000 old VHS tapes the newest of which is over 10 years old. I wanted to put many of them onto DVD but copy protection prevented dobbing on VHS to DVD dual deck recorder. With the Dazzle I can play the tapes on the recorder and burn them to DVD on the laptop. I have done over a dozen so far. The only objection I have so far is the limited recording time of 104 min max. It hasn't been a problem so far but I can for see some applications in the future where this would present a challange.

Dazzle dvd recorder works perfect price was very good, Great for streaming direct to net. Service was prompt customer service is tops I will continue to order from them, and tell all my viewers to check this site first.

It Works

The Dazzle works as promised. It is necessary to go to the Pinnacle site to get updated drivers in order to work with Win 7. I am able to convert VHS tapes to digital and to record video from my DSLR.

Didn't work

I had high expectations, but unfortunately it didn't work on 3 different Notebooks running both Win XP and Win7.

Great buy for Great price

I tried this on my windows 7, but it was laggy, thank god it wasent for me, i installed it on a windows vista computer and it ran perfect, no lag, i saw it locally for 40 bucks! so i saved some money.

Great value for converting old film

Purchased to capture VHS and hopefully some 8mm. Popped the disk in Windows 7 x64, ran the installer, plugged it in, and it works like a charm. You can output to a file for further editing or burn directly to a DVD with menu. If refurb doesn't bother you, it's an absolute steal for $20. Converted a dozen VHS so far with no problems whatsoever.

Dazzler

This little Bobby Dazzler works perfectly. The software caused me to downgrade from an otherwise flawless performance. I simply downloaded other software and used programs that worked. The device receives analog av and converts to digital. It does this well. I just used it to convert analog camcorder recordings into digital. Best Regards. SK

Good product for the money

I bought this product so I could get rid of all our VHS tapes. It works pretty well, though I wish the software it comes with had a few more features. It was simple to install and operate.
