Connection problems.
I got this webcam about a year ago. It was a little difficult to set up and install. Once that's done(I think) it's a great webcam, when it works. It seems like it has a connection issue. Sometimes it just disconnects itself, and for it to reconnect I have to wiggle the wire in the back of the cam. twist it all around and sometimes it works. Other times it says it can not be installed and comes up as an unknown device. Very disappointed.

Excellent webcam, better than expected!
I was very pleased with this camera, and while learning how to use it, I am surprised at the number of features, ease of use, and quality of picture. An excellent camera that I highly recommend to pod-casters and video chatters.

Good buy
Bought for wife to do online classes, clean and clear, works as advertised. Owned for 2 months. She is very satisfied. As far a using it on a laptop it might be to big for the monitor, we use it for a desktop monitor.
