Windows 8 not so great
I just bought an ASUS G75VW and it came with Win8. After two days of hunting and peeling throught layers of programs to find what I need. I bought Win7 Ultimate, had to use some work arounds to reload the drivers because they made for Win8. Now that I have everything setup the Win7 was made for the G75VW. It smokes.

This is the Ultimate OS!
I just finished a recent build and found that I much prefer windows 7 over 8. Hands down there was no issue when it came to installing drivers for my video cards and I didn't have to go out and spend another $150 on new photo software either.

Great OS-disk encryption difficult
I built my own computet(with a TPM chip and all. Got Win7, Ultimate so I could use disk encryption). The OS installed fast! It boots fast. Login is slow compared. Having great difficulty getting disc encryption working. Overall OS is great.
