Its Windows.... what more needs said?
Windows 7 is by far superior to Windows 8 for business applications. Always stable and reliable. Just wish it was priced less than version 8, given it is an older software.

I bought a Dell off the auction with no operating system and installed Win 7 Pro on it without any problems.

Satisfied
Having changed my windows from Vista to 7pro I am glad I did so ! It installed without a problem and I didn't lose my internet connection. It seems to run smooth and I don't get any of the normal Vista problems. Plus now I can run some of my old XP games that I thought I was going to have to sell or get rid of.

Love it!
Fast boot time, very stable, and easy to use. Transition from Vista was a no-brainer. I have used 8 since, and really just don't know where they are going with that. I will be sticking with Windows 7 for a long time.

Great OS
I have used all of Microsoft's OS.XP and 7 are the best. 8 is probably the worst. No problems with the installation or the performance.

Great OS
Been hanging with Win XP after checking out Vista. 5 years and time for a new system. Great OS! 64 bit is finally becoming standard in DAW work, which is what I built system for. A plus to get the OS with SP1 already included; the 'slipstream' process is a bit involved and glad to not have to do it. Installed on new SSD within 10 minutes, added chipset, graphics and USB 3 drivers and it was ready to go. Had already purchased a cheaper version from a small company, and though it worked, it was a 'branded' copy with a key thrown in and didn't want to take a chance, so I got a 'system builder' copy here. Proper sealed packaging. Moving from XP was a learning curve, but worth it. A definite improvement over Vista and even XP.
