Working very well on my newly built machine.
I have been working with Windows for many years(and I still like Win 3.11, which I still have on one machine). However, due to lack of MS support for the older versions, I continue to update. So far, Win 7 is one of the best I have had, and much better than Win 8.

Windows 7 Yay, Windows 8 Boo!
The only reason I scored it this way is because Linux Ubuntu does everything Windows 7 does for me except the best games, so value is the worst. Features are Meh as well as quality. Performance was the best because the best games are on Windows unfortunately.

I Love it except
Coming from XP was not all that hard I really like it. The only problem Iv had was the sound I dont know if it the motherboard sound system or the way Windows 7 handles sound but it was very hard to use. I have the Biostar H61MHV

DVD disk DOES NOT work on all DVD players
Was I ever shocked when I went to install windows 7 (first time with a Win 7 OEM disk, I have lots of XP ones) AND IT WOULD NOT BOOT FROM THE DVD PLAYER! Thankfully I own multiple computers and was able to test the DVD in others and it worked.. So i swapped the LG DVD burner for a reg. DVD rom and everything went fine after that.. but I did confirm there is something weird about the DVD, as EVERYTHING ELSE is recognized, just not the stupid microsoft DVD..

Have not yet installed it but am looking forward to dumping Vista and avoiding the mistake of W8.

Great
I see no reason to go with Win 8, especially after trying it out on my wife's new laptop. Maybe I'll buy the 8.1 upgrade when it comes out if M$ comes to its senses.

No Bluray support! Otherwise very good.
I did not realize that Windows 7 does not natively support Bluray. That's my only disapointment.

It's Windows!!!
The ONLY issue I had is that my key code had a 'Q' that I continuously mistook for an 'O'... I feel really stupid for having typed that...
