Pleased

Loaded onto the laptop easily with easy to follow steps and the system is working fine. The price would be hard to beat.

Great OS

I am very well pleased with this OS version. I was using Vista and I didn't like it as well as XP.

Windows & from Vista

My hard drive stoped working and had to replace it. computer came with Vista which I grew to dislike greatly , so when I replaced the hard drive I also replaced the operating system. I went with the 32 bit because I found on 64bit some 32 bit programs I still use will not run on the 64 bit operating system. Overall much better then Vista.

Glad I upgraded from Vista

One thing that might be helpful for others was oem vs Retail - the oem disk says you can only ever use it on the pc you install it on. The retail version means if you get a new computer you can remove it from the old one and use it on the other (that's the theory at least). I got OEM because I only use my computer for limited things and am ok with it plus Win 8 is near. 32 bit is fine for me, plus with the limited memory and cpu my computer has it'll work better.. 64 bit requires more. The home premium has everything I'll ever need .. the pro and ultimate has bells and whistles that I can cheaply replace with something else. I only wish there was an upgrade path from XP to Win 7 .. ( the upgrade path is .. install a fresh win 7 and everything is gone ) Vista upgrades smoothly. Enjoy

GREAT

I have a 32 bit sys & perifials so I needed the 32bit Version. Its not quite the 64bit perfomance of my newer sys but it's way better than Vista! Throw Vista Away!! & If you have a 64Bit Processor Get the 64 Bit Ver.!!

Good product, good value

Installed almost seamlessly and ran fine from the start. Had to get a technician to tweek it a little. It runs all my programs just fine now. Great value compared to buying at almost any other computer store.

Windows

Does what windows does. Fixed some problems from vista. Windows takes to long to release updates. Flood the market and we can fix it later.

Not always easy

I have been working on installing this product for over 1 week and it still does not work. Installed XP on same machine with no problems, but Windows 7 just won't load. This is a brand new machine built with newest products available. It will work eventually, but it is not always easy like Microsoft wants you to believe.
