Died after 3 months

They worked fine until they died about 3 months after buying. They were only lightly used, hooked up to my PC.

Deafening buzz within weeks

These speakers are a terrible deal. They are expensive enough to make you think you're at least getting something that will last for a long time. Instead, they are extremely weak and they started to buzz within 3 weeks of using them. I have had $20 speakers that were better. If you're going to spend more, don't buy this product.

Good speakers for computer use. Remote control has short distance but it's ok.

Great buy for house or small office!

I have a small office at home and I work on music in there. This has been great and can really get loud and strong if I need it, but I'm trying to consider my neighbors. I blast it on the weekends!

Great Deal

I recently purchased these speaker for my desktop, the sound on them are great. The only issue I have with them, is when I turn them on, I am unsure of what the bass and volume levels are, and so I need to either crank them all the way down, then start from scratch or just hope they are not loud.

things blew out after 3 weeks

i bought these, and they were working great. but after 3 or so weeks they just blew. the sub-woofer started making this awful loud sound, and they were cheaply put together. never buying that brand again.

Great for the classroom

I am a school teacher who needs a speaker system that will vanquish the echo of my hollow class and reach the kids at the back of the room. This one does it for the price listed. Best thing is....you can adjust the bass and treble to reflect the needs of your class. I would not suggest you use it for a very large hall though. Use an amp speaker for that. It is very easy to set up an can be easily tie wrapped to a stand for transportability. The speaker cord could be much longer. Anyone purchasing this for a classroom should get a double female RC jack to extend their audio line and purchase a double rc line that will extend their line to the laptop or computer box. Speakers can be laid on their side or stood up. I like em! Why do they give you such a bad remote though?

Really wasn't given a chance

These speakers looked awesome, had nice features and seemed like good value for the bucks. However, my set came in a beat up box, the panel on the sub woofer was broken off. No biggie, every thing worked and I could repair the cosmetic damage. Unfortunately three days later I only had mids and tweeters working and the sub woofer sounded like angry bees about to attack. My remote wasn't in the box nor the operators manual, so I called eagle and will have to say... outstanding customer service. I was promptly sent a new remote and manual, too bad I never got to experience the speakers. I called my retailer and asked for an exchange, but alas the set is sold out. I will say for the money they looked pretty darn good and for three days I was happy. I like black and the sub woofer has a very cool blue display and you can adjust Treble, Bass and EQ. Seems like a good buy but made a little on the fragile side.

clean sound, big bass

Speakers sound good and clean, but suffers from a lack of a suitable equalizer. The bass can be overwhelming. Probably best for games, but found a way to deal with the boom boom. I put a restrictor in the bass cabinet port to limit the subwoofers output. Sounds the way I like it now. I'm happy with them.
