Eagle Tech ET-AR302-BK Soundstage Speakers

These were on special for $7.99 at the time. Great value, nice looking finish. Reasonable sound quality for such a small enclosure, bass response is low but mids and highs are pretty accurate. Good speakers for a laptop or desktop with limited space. We ended up using these as satellite speakers on a 50 inch TV for night time listening, placing them on an end table next to my chair with a 50 foot extension cord so that I don't wake the house watching TV at night running the full surround sound system in a large living room. These speakers don't fill the entire room with sound and bass that disturbs the sleeping house. Oh yeah, placing a very small piece of black electrical tape over that nasty blue power indicator LED on the front that is bright enough to be a room night light and is quite distracting, my only real complaint.

Do the job

These are nice little speakers and were a great deal when I purchased them. They are bigger than I would like, but I was getting them for my kids computer. They look nice on their desk and are easy to control.A power button and a volume control. They also have an easily accessible headphone jack on the front that the kids can use if other stuff is going on int he room.

Serves my purpose

For the money this is a good buy. I'm using them with my laptop for more volume so I can actually hear the dialog in movies. I have hearing loss so for my purposes and for this price this is fine. I can't really speak to sound quality because of my hearing loss.

grat value for the money

Paid 7.95 for this item. considering the price the item is ell made and performs well. used with 24 inch TV which had tinny spkrs. great improvement. Sound is good and only possible negative is bass is weak .

Surprisingly good

Picked up these speakers when they were on sale for $7 and expected them to sound awful. I was pleasantly surprised when I plugged them in. Would definitely buy another set

Fair Price good quality construction sound weak

Good Quality construction looks great but the sound really fails to impress you.

For 10 bucks can't complain but I wouldn't pay 24.

I scored the value high because I only paid 10$ for them. They diffidently not worth the regular price at 24$. Don't get fooled by the appearance, they look good. My friend has the Eagle Tech ET-AR504LR-BK 2.1 and it sounded pretty good so I thought this would be the norm for all Eagle Tech speakers. My advice would be to spend the extra cash and get the 2.1 speaker.

Inexpensive... you get what you pay for

I should have known better when I ordered these speakers when they were on sale. Honestly I didn't expect these to be stellar, but I did expect there to be a certain standard of performance. My biggest complaint is that these speakers buzz. Even when they are turned off, but still plugged into the wall, they have a low buzz. Several nights I had to unplug them because it bothered me while I was trying to go to sleep. While playing music the buzz is minimal. In general the sound quality is decent considering their price. There really is not much response below 200-300 Hz, this is to be expected without adding a sub woofer. My suggestion is to spend a little more ($35-40) on a 2.1 computer speaker system that has a few more features, is higher quality, and will provide much better sound.
